JANESVILLE, WI — The North American Hockey League (NAHL) today released the 2017-18 schedules for its 23 member clubs. The Janesville Jets will open their 60-game campaign in Springfield, Illinois, against the Springfield Jr. Blues on Saturday, September 16th. After the 15th annual NAHL Showcase from September 20-23, the Jets will open their home slate with a Friday/Saturday series against the Minnesota Magicians on September 29th and 30th. All home games will begin at 7:00 PM (Central Standard Time).
Of the Jets’ 28 home games, 14 fall on Fridays and 11 on Saturdays, with one Wednesday and two Thursday games. The team will play the Central Division’s Austin Bruins, Brookings Blizzard, and Minnesota Wilderness each four times. Janesville will play Kenai River four times, Fairbanks five times, and Coulee Region 10 times. The Springfield Jr. Blues and the Minnesota Magicians each appear 12 times on the Jets’ schedule.
