Jets Give Back to Community Through MDA Fundraiser

JANESVILLE, WIS. – The Janesville Jets teamed up with Kutter Harley Davidson, The South Central Wisconsin Harley Owners Group, and MDA on the opening weekend of the 2013-14 regular season for an MDA fundraiser. This fundraiser benefited the Muscular Dystrophy Association in helping to raise money for this years Tub Run.

The Tub Run is also a fundraiser to help benefit MDA. Ticket sales, specialty t-shirt sales, and the auctioning off of game worn limited edition Harley Jerseys all contributed to the money raised. With the help of fans and players, the Jets were proud to make a donation of $3,298 to MDA.

“The Jets were proud to partner with Kutter Harley-Davidson, South Central Wisconsin Harley Owners Groups and the Tub Run to support MDA.  This event was another great example of the Jets partnering local businesses and community organization to support local charities.  We think the MDA event could be even more popular with Jet fans if we move it later in the season next year,” said Jets President Bill McCoshen.

The mission of the Janesville Jets is to provide our community with a premium hockey experience that offers the biggest entertainment bang for the buck while giving our players an unparalleled opportunity to achieve their greatest potential as athletes, citizens and men.
