LAST WEEKEND: The Jets split a pair of home contests with the visiting Minnesota Magicians, each by a score of 2-1, narrowing Janesville’s division lead to just three points over the Ice Dogs. The Jets massively outshot Minnesota, 42-22 on Friday and 35-20 on Friday, but were kept to the perimeter on more of those chances than they were comfortable with. While the Jets still look for the goal-scoring prowess they enjoyed last season, the series did end the right way, with a 2-1 win.

TONIGHT: The Jets play the Jr. Blues for the first time since the season opener, nearly two months ago in Springfield. Janesville took home a 5-3 victory that night, but a quarter of the season has elapsed since that win. How much has each team grown in that time? The Jets’ oldest rivalry begins again tonight.
