JANESVILLE, WI — The Janesville Jets have announced today preliminary details of the team’s 2019-20 promotional schedule, highlighted by four Free Kids Nights, two Skate with the Jets Nights, and two weekends of specialty jersey auctions.

“The Janesville Jets are all about providing affordable, family-friendly entertainment,” said Shelton Tripp, Director of Sales & Community Outreach. “Fun promotions are a huge part of that. Whether we’re raising money for local initiatives with specialty jerseys, giving away awesome door prizes, or blowing the roof off the building with a free kids promo, everything we do is about connecting with our community. Fans should be really excited about this year’s promo schedule.”
In addition to themes and giveaways, the Jets invite fans to support the team’s commitment to community for the special fundraising nights. The Jets will again wear two sets of specialty jerseys which will be auctioned off to raise money for local nonprofit groups.
For the 10th consecutive year, the Jets will don breast cancer awareness uniforms on Mercyhealth’s Pink in the Rink weekend. This year’s event is set for October 25th and 26th when the Jets host the Chippewa Steel. Proceeds from the jersey sales will again benefit local patients at the Mercyhealth Cancer Center.
This season’s Pink in the Rink jerseys will again be auctioned off live at the Janesville Ice Arena.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Jets will also feature a specialty set of camo uniforms for Salute to Service Weekend, set this season for November 8th and 9th versus the Minnesota Magicians. Proceeds from the Salute to Service jersey auction will again benefit local veterans’ initiatives.
Fans can bid on the Salute to Service jerseys from their phone using the DASH Mobile Auction app.
February is the busiest month of the 2019-20 Jets’ home season with eight games at the Janesville Ice Arena. February promotions begin with Youth Hockey Night and Skate with the Jets (February 1st versus the Springfield Jr. Blues), and also include a mini-stick giveaway, Guns ‘N Hoses Night, American Cancer Society Night, and Chilly’s Birthday Party.
