Group Ticket Sales Consultant

The Janesville Jets, proud recipients of the NAHL’s 2015 Organization of the Year, are looking for an energetic, organized, and personable Group Ticket Sales Consultant to join our growing front office team. This is a high-impact role designed for someone who thrives on building relationships, closing sales, and creating memorable fan experiences through group outings and corporate events.
What You’ll Do
As a Group Ticket Sales Consultant, your mission is to drive group and hospitality ticket sales through targeted outreach, community engagement, and creative promotions. You’ll be responsible for selling to past buyers, prospecting new leads, and delivering a top-tier experience for every client.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or some college preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Personable, energetic, and able to make people smile
- 2+ years in sales preferred, but not required
- Experience with CRM software is a plus
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple clients and tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Sell group and hospitality ticket packages through outbound calls, in-person appointments, game night marketing, and community networking
- Maintain detailed records using CRM systems to track leads, progress, and client information
- Organize and execute group experiences on game nights, including client check-ins and fan promotions
- Develop new ticketing programs and group incentives to drive fresh interest
- Represent the Jets at off-site community and networking events
- Work closely with other departments to support game day operations and events
- Meet and exceed weekly and seasonal sales goals with integrity and a customer-first mindset
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented atmosphere within the sales department
Schedule & Structure
- Hybrid Schedule: 2 fixed in-office days per week; remaining time remote
- In-office days include:
• Ticketing & sales updates
• Prospecting and pipeline reviews
• Weekly goal tracking and individual focus meetings - Sales Targets:
• Week 1: Schedule 15 introductory meetings or calls with prospects
• Weekly goal: Average 11 group packages sold per week through October 31
