Lennie Childs

Head Coach & General Manager

A former Jets forward and associate head coach, Lennie Childs now leads the Janesville Jets as Head Coach and General Manager. He brings coaching experience from the USHL and NCAA Division I, including time with the Des Moines Buccaneers, Union College, and Omaha Lancers. Ty Proffitt

Assistant Coach

Ty Proffitt serves as an assistant coach for the Janesville Jets, bringing experience from successful junior, collegiate, and professional playing careers. He developed with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs (NAHL), where his father serves as General Manager, before playing five seasons at the University of Wisconsin–Superior. Mason Hammett

Director of Hockey Operations

A Janesville native, Mason developed through the local youth and high school hockey system and has strong family ties to the organization, with both parents involved since the team’s start in 2009. Since joining the Jets’ staff, he has taken on a range of responsibilities, including regional scouting, pre-scouting opponents, statistical analysis, and performance evaluation. Trey Taylor

Equipment Manager & Skills Coach

A former alternate captain and equipment manager for the Beloit College Men’s Hockey Team, Trey is excited to join the Janesville Jets organization and contribute to the continued growth and success of the program. He is committed to ensuring players have the equipment and support they need to perform at their best.

Brad Fitzke

Co-Owner of Limitless Performance

Darin Rutherford, MD

Board Certified Family Medicine/Sports Medicine

Dr. Rutherford has been the team physician for the Janesville Jets since the team’s start in 2009. He is also team physician for Beloit College, Janesville Craig and Parker high schools, and the Beloit Sky Carp.

Kathy Calkins, LAT

Licensed Athletic Trainer, ATC

Kathy has worked for Mercy Health Sports Medicine since 1990. She provides daily care and game coverage to the Janesville Jets and to the athletes at Janesville Craig High School. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and Wisconsin Athletic Trainers Association.

Bill McCoshen

President, Founder, & Managing Partner

Bill McCoshen co-founded the Janesville Jets in 2008 and has served as President and Managing Partner ever since. He also serves as Chairman of the NAHL Board and was inducted into the Wisconsin Hockey Hall of Fame in 2016 for his contributions to hockey as a player, coach, leader, and founder of several statewide hockey initiatives, including the Kohlman Cup Tournament and Wisconsin Elite Hockey League.

Jerad Clark

Vice President of Business Development

Jerad Clark serves as the Janesville Jets’ Vice President of Business Development & Operations, overseeing partnerships, business growth, and community engagement. A University of Wisconsin–La Crosse graduate and former collegiate wrestler and baseball player, Jerad brings nearly two decades of sales and marketing experience to the organization. Spencer Brochtrup

Director of Fan and Partner Relations

Spencer has grown through several roles within the organization since joining in 2023, now serving as Director of Fan and Partner Relations. A University of Wisconsin–Whitewater graduate with a degree in Marketing, he leads community partnerships and game day operations while helping strengthen the Jets’ connection with fans and sponsors.
