Bill McCoshen

President, Founder, & Managing Partner

In 2008, Bill McCoshen and six others came together as Wisconsin Hockey Partners, LLC, and founded the Janesville Jets. From Day One, Bill has served as the organization’s President and Managing Partner.

Bill serves the NAHL on the Executive Committee as Chairman of the Board.

In 2016, Bill was inducted into the Wisconsin Hockey Hall of Fame. His achievements and contributions to the state’s hockey communities include back-to-back state championships (1981 & 1982) as a defenseman for Superior Senior High School, leadership as President of the Southwest (Verona) Hockey Association, founding of the Kohlman Cup Peewee Tournament, and co-founding the Wisconsin Elite Hockey League (WEHL).

Brad Stepan

Brad joined the Jets’ front office just as the 2022 season began. Brad will lead off-ice functions of the Janesville Jets with an emphasis on sponsors and captain the Jets’ business operations team. Brad works closely with Calvin Bush on community partners and online-related sponsor material.

Brad played professional hockey with the Denver Rangers of the International Hockey League in 1988-89, and the Windsor Compuware Spitfires and Soo Greyhounds in the OHL before then. After his playing career, Brad joined the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning as a scout in 2008 before pivoting to coaching in 2012 when he became the head coach for Rosemount High in Minnesota. Brad coached there for five years until he came on as the HC for the Chippewa Falls Steel 16U AAA team in 2020. Brad became a scout for the NAHL’s Chippewa Steel later that year. He was promoted to the Director of Hockey Operations in 2021 and ultimately moved on to Team President to finish the year.

Calvin Bush

Calvin re-joined the Jets for the inception of the Director of Media & Communications in fall 2021. In this new role, Calvin oversees all aspects of the Jets’ digital presence and branding. He produces content for, manages, and maintains the Jets’ website and all social media accounts. He collaborates with both Hockey Operations and Business Operations to develop promotional material and sales collateral, serves as the Jets’ liaison with local media, and leads the Jets’ broadcast operations through HockeyTV. Calvin also leads efforts in game night operations and execution, as well as ticketing and group sales.

Calvin grew up in New Berlin, Wisconsin. He graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2018 with his Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and minor in Sports Management. Calvin previously served the Jets as an intern during the 2018-19 season.

Calvin earned a State Championship in baseball during high school and plays pickup basketball and summer-league baseball. He lives in Janesville and enjoys going to the gym, dog-walking, video gaming, podcasting, and watching anything sports-related.
