Bill McCoshen

President, Founder, & Managing Partner

In 2008, Bill McCoshen and six others came together as Wisconsin Hockey Partners, LLC, and founded the Janesville Jets. From Day One, Bill has served as the organization’s President and Managing Partner.

Bill serves the NAHL on the Executive Committee as Chairman of the Board.

In 2016, Bill was inducted into the Wisconsin Hockey Hall of Fame. His achievements and contributions to the state’s hockey communities include back-to-back state championships (1981 & 1982) as a defenseman for Superior Senior High School, leadership as President of the Southwest (Verona) Hockey Association, founding of the Kohlman Cup Peewee Tournament, and co-founding the Wisconsin Elite Hockey League (WEHL).


Mason Lyttle

Mason has more than five years’ experience leading the Jets in all off-ice functions. In his role, Mason directs the Jets’ front office, marketing and communications, and internship program. Mason works closely with Mel Cushing on all tasks related to the Jets’ sponsors and community partners, and works closely with Shelton Tripp to oversee the Jets’ game night operations, promotions, and ticket sales.

Mason joined the Jets as an intern in fall 2014, and since has helped the team repeatedly break records in corporate partnerships, season ticket memberships, and attendance.

Mason grew up in Apex, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in English. Mason lives in Janesville with his girlfriend, Erin, their cat, Rigby, and their dog, Bosco. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Janesville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, and enjoys cycling, craft beer, board games, and watching hockey in his free time.


Mel Cushing

After an incredibly successful sales career at WCLO/WJVL, Mel joined the Jets in March of 2016. Mel’s wealth of talents immediately improved the Jets’ connections to corporate partners in the South Central Wisconsin community.

Mel will continue to serve the Jets in his role of corporate communications, partner relations, and sponsorship sales into the 2019-20 season, primarily by connecting businesses and individuals who support Jets hockey to the product: the players, the coaches, and the fans.
In his free time, Mel enjoys physical fitness and attending sporting events.

Shelton Tripp

The 2019-20 season is Shelton’s second with the Jets after joining the team in September 2018.

As Director of Sales & Community Outreach, Shelton oversees group tickets, ticket plans, community involvement, and game night operations. Shelton also oversees sales interns, assists with marketing and promotional initiatives, and serves as team liaison to Janesville Youth Hockey.

In 2014, Shelton graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting. He came to Wisconsin from New York City, where he had lived since 2015. In New York, Shelton grew his acting resume while balancing different sales positions. His passion for storytelling and communication opened the opportunity to begin his career in sales and marketing.

Shelton lives in Janesville and serves as an Ambassador for Forward Janesville. In his free time, Shelton enjoys running, playing basketball, and watching live theater.



Allie Hoffman

Marketing & PR Intern

Allie joined the Jets in January 2019. In her role as a Marketing & PR Intern, she helps create and distribute promotional flyers and sales collateral for season tickets, sponsorships, and group sales. At home games, Allie helps execute game night promotions and helps develop live content for Jets’ social media channels.

Allie will graduate from UW-Whitewater in May 2020 with a Bachelors Degree in Advertising, with a minor in General Communication.

Erika Marion

Editorial Intern

Erika joined the Jets in fall 2019. As Editorial Intern, she primarily focuses on providing written content for the Jets’ website, focusing most on game recaps and feature stories. Erika also helps write content for Jets’ social media channels.

Erika is a student at UW-Whitewater, where she majors in Communications with an emphasis on Broadcast/Print/Web Journalism, and minors in Public Relations.

Cody Stoughtenger

Multimedia Intern

Cody joined the Jets in fall 2019. As Multimedia Intern, he leads the Jets’ development of video content, helping tell the Jets’ story to both local fans in Janesville and to the hockey world across the globe.

Cody will graduate from UW-Whitewater in May 2020 with a Bachelors Degree in Advertising, with a minor in General Business.

Taylor Pavlik

Game Night Operations Assistant

Taylor started with the Jets in the 2017-18 season as an intern. As Game Night Operations Assistant, Taylor manages fan relations at every Jets home game. Fans can find Taylor working at the merchandise and information table, helping groups locate their seats, and finding participants for the Jets’ various in-game contests. Taylor is the Swiss Army knife of the Jets’ game night operations staff.

Taylor is a student at Blackhawk Technical College. Taylor lives in Janesville with his wife, Alii, and young daughters, Noel and Presley.
