JETS BRING KENNEDY MCNEIL BACK, VP OF COMMUNITY RELATIONS AND GAME OPERATIONS

Aug 2, 2023

The Janesville Jets, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce the return of Kennedy McNeil as the Vice President of Community Relations and Game Operations.

Kennedy served as the Director of Fan Development and Game Operations from March of 2020 through the 2021-2022 season, where she then transitioned into a part time role for the 2022-2023 season.

“Kennedy is a hard worker and understands what it takes to be successful to ensure we can continue to advance our mission: develop, promote and advance our players while giving back to the community and providing affordable family entertainment,”said Jets President Bill McCoshen.  “She has a passion for the Jets community involvement and fan experience, which will be necessary as we prepare to play in the new Woodman’s Sports & Conference Center in the next two years,” said McCoshen.

Kennedy graduated from UW- Whitewater with a Masters degree in Higher Education Athletic Administration in 2019. In 2021, Kennedy and her fiancé decided to call Whitewater their home for good. She currently serves as an Ambassador with Forward Janesville and is heavily involved in the Janesville and Whitewater communities.

“The Janesville Jets could not be more pleased to get Kennedy back here with the Jets full time. Simply put, there is no one in the Upper Midwest more passionate about Jets hockey than Kennedy McNeil!” “The Jets will once again have one of the best game day experiences in the NAHL for our fans. Her knowledge of the League, our great partners and the Community will help her tremendously in her new role!” said VP Brad Stepan.

“I am so excited to be back with the Jets in full capacity, focusing on our fan experience and community involvement” said Kennedy McNeil. “The Jets hold such an important role in the community of Janesville. Achieving our mission everyday wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community partners, ticket members, billets, and players. I am looking forward to working alongside them again to continue to do big things for the community and the athletes!”

The Jets will have their home opener on Friday, September 8, a two-game series against the Fairbanks Ice Hogs, and look forward to the 2023-2024 season ahead.
