JANESVILLE, WI — Jets players gathered Thursday night at Jackson Elementary to help out with the annual PTA Carnival. The night of games and treats was a great way for players to have fun and support the Janesville community.
Justin Bofshever, Nathan Solis, Cale McCoshen, Matt Hanewall, and Jordan Steinmetz lent a hand with games and contests spread throughout the hallways. Ring toss and lawn darts were standout as most popular among Jackson students of all ages. Hosting the games and handing out prizes, Jets players had a chance to meet and connect with students and family.
“It’s always fun to be out here helping the kids and the community,” Bofshever said. “Playing games with them is an awesome way to interact with our community and meet some of the local families.”
Jackson faculty appreciated the Jets’ involvement, and celebrated the night’s success.
“I love having parents and families come together for an event at school,” said Principal Kristen Moisson. “Tonight’s event has been a great success. There’s nothing better than to watch parents participate with their kids and enjoy spending time together.”
