JANESVILLE, WI – The Janesville Jets, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), have signed forward Nate Mohr to a tender contract, securing his NAHL rights for the 2020-21 season.
A tender is a contract a team offers a prospect to reserve his rights for the upcoming NAHL season. When a player signs a tender, his rights belong to that team within the NAHL, and he may not be recruited or drafted by any other member club. Each team is granted 10 tenders, which became active on November 1, and which they can either use on a prospect or trade to another NAHL club.
Nate Mohr
Mohr (6-0/155) is a 19-year-old right-handed forward from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He played this most recent season with his hometown Sioux Falls Power of the NAPHL’s U18 division. In 16 games with the Power, Mohr finished second in team scoring with 10 goals and 22 points.
The NAPHL All-Star was selected first overall in last month’s NA3HL Draft. by the Oregon Tradesmen (formerly the Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts), who will play their home games at the Oregon Ice Arena in Oregon, Wisconsin. The sale and relocation of the franchise was announced by the league last month.
