North Division Star of the Week: Michael Louria, forward, Janesville Jets
The Janesville Jets got back to the winning side of things with a weekend road sweep of the Coulee Region Chill. Leading the way offensively was 19-year-old forward Michael Louria. The native of Wexford, Pennsylvania recorded three goals and an assist in the two wins. On Friday, Louria (5’11/185) scored the game-winning goal with just over a minute left in a 5-4 win. On Saturday, he scored two more goals and added an assist in a 4-1 win. He was also a +3 in the game. For the season, Louria leads the Jets in scoring with 13 points (6 goals, 7 assists) in 10 games played. “Michael has come in and really brought that offensive firepower we lost from last season,” said Jets head coach Joe Dibble. “He has an unbelievable work ethic on and off the ice and works very hard for every thing he gets.”
