Who is your favorite hockey player and why?

Kris Letang, for a number of reasons. First, he is in my mind the best two-way defenseman in the NHL, and I have watched him play since I was young here in Pittsburgh. Also, he’s the type of player who makes everyone around him better and creates havoc for opposing teams every time he’s on the ice. He can play in all situations from 5-on-5 to power play to penalty kill, as well as the last few minutes of games trying to hold a lead. He’s also a leader and a proven winner and he’s my favorite player to watch.

What was your favorite subject in school?

Math because it always came easy to me and it always makes sense.

What song has the most plays in your library?

“Summertime” by Kenny Chesney. Always makes me feel good no matter what.

What do you want Jets fans to know about you?

I’ve been in and out of Janesville since the 2014-15 season, but this year I’m here to stay and bring home the Robby Cup.

What is the best thing about Janesville?

The Jets fans of course, and all of the great restaurants.

What advice do you have for youth athletes?

Work for the guy next to you and the individual success will follow.
