Shortly after Halverson was picked, the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders selected forward Robby Newton with the 10th pick of the fifth round (69th overall). Newton signed a tender with the Jets in November and joined the team in March after his Team Wisconsin season ended.

In the ninth round, the Dubuque Fighting Saints selected forward Tommy Middleton (128th overall), and just two picks later, the Fargo Force scooped up Parker Lindauer (130th). Like Newton, Lindauer signed a tender with Janesville and began his Jets career in the playoff stretch. The Des Moines Buccaneers picked forward Nick Nardella in the 13th round (192nd), the final selection from the Jets’ roster.

Former Jet Christophe Fillion was selected 40th overall by the Lincoln Stars. Fillion began the 2017-18 season with the Jets, playing 18 games for Janesville.

The six players combine for 199 total games played with the Jets.
