JANESVILLE, WI – The Janesville Jets have announced a change in their schedule due to recent restrictions set by the state of Minnesota.

The Austin Bruins from Austin, Minnesota, will travel to Janesville this weekend, replacing the series originally scheduled for March 26 and March 27, 2021, allowing both teams to use those dates for other rescheduling as necessary.

Austin will play its as-scheduled home game on Friday versus the Minnesota Wilderness, then travel to Janesville for home games on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00pm on Saturday, and 5:00pm on Sunday.

In addition to the schedule change, there will be a temporary pause of spectator admission to home Jets games, per direction of the City of Janesville, beginning with this weekend’s games. To assist with the Jets’ mission of developing and advancing players, the decision permits the admission of up to 10 scouts, who will be temperature checked upon entry, and who must wear a mask and distance themselves.

The originally-scheduled game for Saturday, November 21 versus the Kenai River Brown Bears was to be the first of four “Special Attendance Nights,” where sponsors and fans without Season Ticket Memberships could attend with pre-ordered pods of tickets. The Jets have rescheduled the November 21st Special Attendance Night for Friday, January 8th, also against the Kenai River Brown Bears.

“While we wish we could safely bring the thrill of live Jets hockey to our fans this weekend, we are happy to confirm that this Special Attendance Night will be rescheduled, not canceled outright,” said Kennedy McNeil, Director of Fan Development and Game Operations. “We’d like to remind our sponsors, billets, staff, and fans to stay safe until we can celebrate a big home ice win with them again.”
