JANESVILLE, WI — The Janesville Jets and Janesville Youth Hockey Club have together announced a Game Day Special menu for Jets home games during the 2019-20 season.
LeAnne Holley manages concessions for Janesville Youth Hockey, who operate the concessions stand year-round at the Janesville Ice Arena.
Every Friday, and for some other select games, Jets fans can enjoy a $6 Game Day Special. Entrees come with chips and mini cookies.
A meal-specific schedule has been planned for 10 of the first 17 home games this season. Game Day Specials will fall predominantly on Fridays.
“With so many moms and dads working to or sometimes past five o’clock on Fridays, we wanted to provide a dinner option right here at Jets games,” said Holley, who has three children in JYH. “Hopefully this way we can cross off a stop on a busy mom or dad’s list between work, home, and the Janesville Ice Arena. No need to swing by a drive-thru. Just come down to the rink, get a hot meal at a good price, and settle in for some great hockey.”
