JANESVILLE, WI – The Janesville Jets are proud to announce their partnership with Mercyhealth for the 7th annual Pink in the Rink weekend, next Friday and Saturday, October 21st and 22nd versus the Minnesota Magicians.

The Jets will again wear specialty pink uniforms for each game of the series. Following Saturday’s game, the Jets will conduct a live auction for each player’s jersey, where fans can purchase the special jerseys right off their favorite player’s back. A portion of the proceeds from the jersey auction will be donated to Mercy Regional Cancer Center. Employees from Mercyhealth will also serve as volunteer bartenders to raise additional funds, with all tips from the weekend donated to Mercy Regional Cancer Center.

Last season’s Pink in the Rink was an incredible success, with the Jets defeating Coulee Region 7-0 in the one game event. Over 850 fans showed up, setting a franchise record for Pink in the Rink attendance, and the pink jersey auction raised over $3,000 for Mercy Regional Cancer Center, also a franchise record.

This year, you can join the Jets to raise money for breast cancer research and awareness.

A special offer has been extended to all Jets fans and supporters to treat breast cancer survivors and their families to a fun-filled weekend of hockey. Treat survivors with tickets here, or you can buy your own tickets online now (Friday and Saturday) to ensure that you can be a part of this spectacular event.
