JANESVILLE, WI — The Janesville Jets and Mercyhealth are proud to announce their continued partnership with the Stick it to Cancer weekend, scheduled for Friday, March 31, and Saturday, April 1 versus the Minnesota Wilderness.
The Jets will wear specialty blue Stick it to Cancer jerseys for each of the games. There will be a jersey auction during intermission and postgame during both Friday and Saturday’s games, where fans can bid on one of the jerseys. A schedule of the auction will be posted closer to game day. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Mercyhealth Cancer Center.
“We’re very excited to continue this great tradition in Janesville,” said Jets Vice President Brad Stepan. “Mercyhealth has been an incredible partner with us and this is something that we know everyone in the community looks forward to. We love to be a part of an event as special as this year after year.”
Fans are encouraged to come out and show support for the Janesville Jets and the Mercyhealth Cancer Center. Puck drop is at 7 pm, with the games held at the Janesville Ice Arena, 821 Beloit Ave.
Mercyhealth is the exclusive medical provider for the Janesville Jets.
