JANESVILLE, WI – The Janesville Jets, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), have signed forward Parker Lindauer to a tender contract, securing his NAHL rights for the 2019-20 season.
A tender is a contract a team offers a prospect to reserve his rights for the upcoming NAHL season. When a player signs a tender, his rights belong to that team within the NAHL, and he may not be recruited or drafted by any other member club. Each team is granted 10 tenders, which became active on November 1, and which they can either use on a prospect or trade to another NAHL club.
Parker Lindauer
Lindauer (5-10/165) is a 2001-born left-handed forward from Madison, Wisconsin. He plays this season for Madison Memorial High, and plays before/after with Team Wisconsin in the Upper Midwest High School Elite Hockey League (UMHSEHL). Lindauer scored 29 goals and added 21 assists for 50 points in 24 games with Madison Memorial last season, and already has an NCAA Division I commitment to Northern Michigan University.
Coaches Say
“We are excited to have Parker as a part of this organization for next season. Parker is a very talented hockey player, which shows by his Division One commitment to Northern Michigan. Lindauer will add both skill and grit for the Jets next season.” — Gary Shuchuk, Jets Head Coach & General Manager
Becoming a great development program for NCAA hockey means building for the future while focusing on the season at hand. After splitting with the Chippewa Steel, the Jets hit the road this weekend to Richfield, Minnesota, where the first-place Magicians await. Friday’s game is the HockeyTV free game of the week.
