JANESVILLE, WI – The Janesville Jets have announced today preliminary details of the team’s 2018-19 promotional schedule, highlighted by a magnet schedule on opening night, two Skate with the Jets dates, and four Free Kids Nights.
“Over the last couple of seasons, the business team have done a great job of developing Free Kids Nights as new staples to our promo schedule,” said Kevin Meegan, Director of Sales & Community Outreach. “We were fortunate this season to find some community-minded partners who made it possible for us to offer our number one family promotion four different times this season. Peppered in throughout the season, these Free Kids Nights are great opportunities for Jets fans, new and old, to take advantage of an even more affordable night of family fun.”
In addition to themes and giveaways, the Jets invite fans to support the team’s commitment to community for the special fundraising nights. The Jets will again wear two sets of specialty jerseys which will be auctioned off to raise money for local nonprofit groups. A pink set will be featured on Mercyhealth’s Pink in the Rink weekend on October 19 & 20 for breast cancer awareness. For the third consecutive year, the Jets will also feature a specialty set of camo uniforms for Salute to Service Weekend, set this season for November 9 & 10. The Jets will also host a Guns ‘N Hoses Night in January, featuring an afternoon charity match between local police and fire groups, and in February will again partner with Relay for Life in hosting another American Cancer Society Night.
