The Jets will play 52 regular season games, including the four at the NAHL Showcase Tournament. Their 12th season in the NAHL begins at home against the Fairbanks Ice Dogs on Thursday, November 5th. All Jets home games will begin at 7:05 PM (Central Standard Time).

The NAHL also announced that the NAHL Showcase, the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament, and the NAHL Robertson Cup Championship will all take place this season, with dates announced in the near future.

Of the Jets’ 48 non-Showcase games, 19 fall on Fridays (9 home, 10 away) and 20 on Saturdays (10 home, 10 away). Janesville will also play eight Thursday games (four home, four away) and one Sunday game (home) this year.

For the first time since the 2017-18 season the Jets will play a four-game set with the Central Division’s Austin Bruins. The Minnesota Wilderness again appear on the schedule to continue a unique rivalry into its sixth season, dating back to a Robertson Cup Semifinals series in 2014-15 and a single season sharing a division in 2015-16.

Games against Midwest Division opponents break down this way:

Team Total # Games
Chippewa Steel 12
Fairbanks Ice Dogs 10
Kenai River Brown Bears 10
Minnesota Magicians 8

The Springfield Jr. Blues announced last week that the team will not play this season, but will return for the 2021-22 season.

Janesville will again make two trips to Alaska for series against the Brown Bears and the Ice Dogs, both in the calendar year 2021.

By total games, the longest road stretch begins with the second Alaska trip. Starting February 19 in Fairbanks, the Jets play nine straight road games, ending with a visit to Cloquet, Minnesota for the season series finale with the Wilderness. From there, the Jets play eight of the final 12 games at home.

The longest uninterrupted streak of home games is also nine long, and begins December 19 versus Chippewa with the team’s final game before the holiday break. Janesville hosts Fairbanks on New Year’s Eve, and then plays the first seven games of 2021 in the friendly confines of the Janesville Ice Arena.

A full promotional schedule will be released in the coming weeks. Following proper guidelines and procedures from the City of Janesville, Rock County, and the State of Wisconsin, the Jets have paused new Season Ticket Memberships for the 2020-21 season in order to guarantee existing Season Ticket Holders admission in a new, distanced, pod-style seating chart.
