JANESVILLE, WI — The Janesville Jets and Mercyhealth are proud to announce their continued partnership for the 10th annual Pink in the Rink weekend, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, October 25th and 26th versus the Chippewa Steel.

The Jets will again wear specialty pink uniforms for each game of the home series. Fans will have multiple opportunities this year to take home their favorite player’s Pink in the Rink jersey. Live on-ice auctions for select players’ jerseys will take place during intermissions on both Friday and Saturday. The remaining jerseys will be auctioned off following Saturday’s game. Proceeds from the jersey auction will be donated to Mercyhealth Cancer Center.

As with previous years, the Jets are extending free admission at the door to all cancer survivors and their families. New this season, free admissions are also given to any children wearing the color pink.

Employees from Mercyhealth will serve as volunteer bartenders to raise additional funds, with all tips from the weekend also donated to Mercyhealth Cancer Center. Mercyhealth will also provide special auction items and raffle baskets at their informational table.

Last season’s Pink in the Rink saw more than 1,000 fans through the doors as the Jets split their series with the Springfield Jr. Blues. Last year’s pink jersey auction raised over $5,000 for Mercyhealth Cancer Center, most in event history.
